Further Notes:
  • I've missed out the F1 which is only possible with the stopping valve and all three valves on the horn in F.
  • I've included comments for notes from F (4th line on bass clef) upwards to top C, below this range there aren't many choices and above it, it really depends on the horn and you.
  • My suggestions are only for one-off notes and take no account of the other players in the section or the passage you are playing, the tuning of your instrument or anything else, they are just a one-off starting point.
  • As in the other page, I've not included harmonics 11 and 13 as these are not really reliable enough due to their tuning.
